This web page is designed for you to submit photos of pedestrian and bicycle path of travel problem areas in Sonoma County. Sidewalks, roadways, curbs - they're all fair game. Simply capture a digital image and email it to Steve Shaw at CRI at lawyer@sonic.net. We can resize your photo to fit our format. Please tell us where and when the photo was taken. If you want your name mentioned as the advocate who spotted the problem, let us know! Pedestrian safety affects everyone, and is a key to the inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of life. It supports the deinstitutionalization of people with disabilities. Our advocacy plan is a multi-prong effort to increase safety and maximize the usefulness of our system of roadways (streets, sidewalks and parking) for people with disabilities. Our intention is to involve volunteers and community members to come together the help create safer, more attractive and accessible pedestrian pathways throughout the communities we serve. We will begin with the most populous city in our service area, Santa Rosa, and then develop similar plans in Napa and Ukiah. We're all in this together, so make a contribution to change in your community! Contact Nancy Hall for more information about advocacy: |
